Profile

Shoba Liza John is an Assistant Professor in the Department of French. She has been serving the college from December 2010. She received her Ph.D in 2018 for her French thesis on The Influence of French in the works of Mukundan, Kakkanadan and Anand.

She offers her consultancy in Translation and Communicative French courses. She got the BELC scholarship offered by the French Embassy and French Institute in India and went to France for a two week BELC workshop in July 2018.

In the year 2022, she received the Professeur d’Excellence Award instituted by the French Institute in india.

She has various paper presentations and publications to her credit. She has been heading the Dept of Additional Languages since 2018 and she is a member of the Bos of MGU, Christ College, St.teresas College.

She has played a leading role in the syllabus revision of our college as well as the university and has led the team for syllabus revision under FYUGP 2024 across Kerala.

She has undertaken community development programmes and has inspired students to pass DELF examinations, and has assisted students in achieving the English Assistant Fellowship to go to France.
